September is Suicide Prevention Month, which means it’s the perfect time to focus on your mental health and checking in with the people around you. Life can get stressful, and it’s okay to ask for help—it doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human.
What is Wellness Week?
Wellness Week is all about taking small steps every day to feel better in your mind, body, and emotions. Even tiny actions—like talking to a friend, moving your body, or just taking a deep breath—can make a huge difference.
Wellness Week Ideas for Teens:
- Mindful Monday: Try 5 minutes of deep breathing, listen to calming music, or write down something you’re grateful for.
- Talk it Out Tuesday: Check in with a friend, sibling, or adult you trust. Talking helps you feel less alone.
- Wellness Wednesday: Move your body—dance, skate, play basketball, or just take a walk outside.
- Thoughtful Thursday: Journal your thoughts, doodle, or reflect on something good from your day.
- Feel-Good Friday: Do one thing that makes you happy—watch a funny video, jam out to your favorite song, or treat yourself.
